Upcoming Gigs

SONGWRITER SHOWCASE: Every first and third Thursday, I invite a singer-songwriter from the Bay Area to swap songs and stories with me. We share some original songs as well as a few choice covers to shine a light on what makes the Bay Area so singable.

7pm-10pm Free with purchase of food or drink.

This Showcase, EZ flies solo! She’s got a lot on her mind and would love to share songs and stories with you.

7pm-10pm Free with purchase of food or drink.

My guest on March 5th is Sara Rodenburg. Sara is an American Singer-Songwriter.  She writes what she feels, which is acoustic, folk-rock songs born out of the South Side of Chicago, textured with inspiration, grit, and warm California sun.  Melodic phrasings of Love, Journey, and Joyful Spirit are at the heart of her music.

7pm-10pm Free with purchase of food or drink.

My guest on March 19th is Deborah Crooks. Born and raised in California, Deborah grew up surrounded by nature, but close enough to San Francisco to be influenced by the city’s history of social, musical and political upheaval. Place-based and rooted in practice, her work has evolved over her years studying natural history at UC Santa Cruz, writing and poetics at The Naropa Institute in Boulder, CO; voice and yoga in Mysore, India, and co-writing and collaborating with her Bay Area peers. Her most recent project is an avian-themed folk opera about Peregrine Falcons and people called ‘Flight Lessons.’

7pm-10pm Free with purchase of food or drink.

My guest on April 2nd is Aireene Espiritu. Aireene Espiritu plays a mix of stompin’, swayin’ and timeless Americana reminiscent of front porch storytelling, of ghosts and the living, times of laughter and tears. A Color-Coded Symphony is her latest project, a musical experience connecting the audience’s ethnic origins to rhythms of the world.

7pm-10pm Free with purchase of food or drink.

My guest on April 16th is Alexis Harte. Alexis Harte is an American Singer-Songwriter/Composer and was Co-Founder/Creative Director at multi-award winning Pollen Music Group

As a singer/songwriter, his musical roots span acoustic folk, British invasion, Americana, and electrified world-pop. In addition to sharing stages with the likes of Taj Mahal, Dar Williams, and Cat Power, Alexis placed numerous tracks from his 6 studio releases in dozens of national television shows (including CW’s Heart of Dixie, ABC’s Castle, and What About Brian, Jack And Bobby, WB’s Jake 2.0, PBS’s Now with Bill Moyers, Fox’s The Loop) and many films.
